ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

Nope.  Borthwick Castle’s walls are 15 ft thick and the sound of a child screaming will be too much to bear.  Additionally, the events leading up to the wedding will almost certainly involve pubs/distilleries and the frequent consumption of whisky.  In short, leave your lovely wee bairns in the comfort of their homes. 

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO BORTHWICK CASTLE?

Yes, transportation will be leaving from ________ at _________.  If you decide to book travel independently at another hotel, you will be responsible for arriving at the pick up location to ensure transport.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE WEDDING?

Feel free to wear whatever you desire- there is no dress code or requested color scheme for the guests.  For the more daring guests, a kilt or a traditional Scottish highland dress would be perfect for the occasion.

WHAT IS UNDERNEATH A KILT?

Nothing but Scottish neeps and tatties, lads and lassies. Check at your own risk.
