Eric and Ashley met on May 8th, 2021, during a family Mother’s Day event that Eric was catering. Neither of us expected anything special that day, but somehow, in the middle of food, laughter, and family, something just clicked. We started dating not long after, even though life was a bit messy for both of us at the time—Eric was living in his apartment, and Ashley was still with her parents. Despite the chaos, we found comfort in each other.

We traveled often, creating memories and learning more about ourselves and each other. Our love kept growing stronger—we both matured, supported each other’s growth, and really brought out the best in one another. Ashley, ever the fun one, helped Eric come out of his shell little by little.

Then in September 2023, two years after we met, Eric surprised Ashley with a proposal during a family weekend trip to New York. On a rainy, beautiful day in Central Park, he planned a picnic and popped the question—Ashley had no idea it was coming.

From there, the adventure continued as we traveled to different places, searching for the perfect wedding location. Ashley always dreamed of a destination wedding, and we finally stumbled upon Antigua, Guatemala. The city was everything we hoped for—charming, romantic, and full of magic.
